About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to play a pivotal role in facilitating communication and collaboration between various departments, including the Project Management Office (PMO), Business Development, and Legal. The ideal candidate should have thorough knowledge of contracts, architecture design, and supervision processes, and must be familiar with the Federal Conditions of Contract (FEDIC).
Responsibilities
Contract Management: Manage the entire contract lifecycle, from initiation to execution, and ensure that all contractual obligations are met. Review and negotiate contracts with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
Interdepartmental Coordination: Act as a liaison between the PMO department, Business Development, and Legal to ensure alignment and compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Contract Compliance: Monitor contracts for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters.
Risk Assessment: Assess potential risks associated with contracts and propose risk mitigation strategies. Identify and resolve contract-related issues and disputes.
Knowledge of FEDIC: Maintain a strong understanding of the Federal Conditions of Contract (FEDIC) and apply this knowledge to contract management activities.
Documentation: Maintain organized records of contracts, correspondence, and other related documents. Prepare reports and documentation as required.
Contract Amendments: Manage contract amendments and modifications, ensuring that changes are properly documented and communicated to relevant parties.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of [7] years of experience in contract management, with a strong background in architecture design and supervision processes.
Thorough knowledge of contract law and the Federal Conditions of Contract (FEDIC).
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to analyze complex contractual issues and provide practical solutions.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
