About the Company
Our philosophy is deeply rooted in the belief that our architectural work should strive for humanity and sensitivity to the living environment, inspired by Dr. Rasem Badran's school of thought. At DAO, we continuously explore living models and paradigms to prevent cities or buildings from becoming monotonous, lifeless, and devoid of identity. This ideology stems from understanding who we are as people or who we are designing for while considering where we are located or for which place we are creating.
Our mission is to develop human and environment-friendly architecture in Saudi Arabia that is not imposing but welcoming, fostering social cohesion and inclusion rather than segregation. We prioritize sustainable design that encompasses not only climate and environmental factors but also social and cultural sustainability. By specializing in Architecture for Islamic civilizations, including Najdi, Hejazi, and Salmani styles, we aim to create spaces that reflect our deep understanding of local heritage and traditions.
In summary, our philosophy revolves around creating value through design, adding meaning as another dimension, and enriching the sense of belonging to places. As a leading Architecture & Engineering consultancy, we work with multidisciplinary teams of engineering consultants in Riyadh, Jeddah, and throughout Saudi Arabia to achieve these goals and set the benchmark for excellence in the industry.
