About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Legal Officer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Legal Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring that our projects comply with all relevant legal requirements and regulations. This position involves providing legal guidance, contract management, and ensuring that the company's operations are conducted within the boundaries of the law.

Responsibilities

Legal Compliance: Ensure that all projects, contracts, and business activities comply with local, regional, and international laws and regulations.


Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to projects, partnerships, and clients.


Legal Research: Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may affect the company and its projects. Conduct legal research and provide recommendations to mitigate legal risks.


Dispute Resolution: Assist in the resolution of legal disputes, including mediation, arbitration, and litigation when necessary.


Contractual Support: Collaborate with project teams to provide legal support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.


Corporate Governance: Ensure compliance with corporate governance principles and standards. Maintain company records and documentation.


Legal Documentation: Prepare and maintain legal documentation, including contracts, agreements, and corporate records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field.

  • Master's degree in Law is a plus.

    Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, preferably in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry.

  • Strong knowledge of local and international laws and regulations related to construction and design projects.

    Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic is highly desirable.

  • Saudi Arabia residency or the ability to work in Saudi Arabia is required.
