About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Proposals/Bid Architect to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in architectural proposal and bid preparation, with a passion for contributing to our mission of architectural excellence. As a Proposals/Bid Architect, you will play a key role in securing new projects and expanding our portfolio.
Responsibilities
Proposal Development: Lead the preparation and development of architectural proposals and bids for a variety of projects, ensuring that submissions are accurate, compelling, and align with client requirements.
Bid Strategy: Collaborate with the business development team to develop winning bid strategies, including proposal themes, value propositions, and differentiation strategies.
Design Integration: Work closely with design and technical teams to integrate design concepts, technical solutions, and innovative ideas into bid proposals, showcasing our firm's capabilities and creativity.
Client Engagement: Engage with potential clients during the bidding process, attending meetings, site visits, and presentations to understand their needs and communicate our value proposition effectively.
Competitive Analysis: Conduct thorough market and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges in the architectural industry, allowing for informed decision-making in the proposal process.
Proposal Documentation: Prepare and compile all required proposal documentation, including qualifications, project approach, project schedules, and cost estimates, ensuring alignment with project goals.
Budget Management: Manage proposal budgets and resources effectively, optimizing costs while maintaining the quality and impact of proposals.
Deadline Adherence: Ensure that all proposal submissions are completed and submitted within specified deadlines, demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
Quality Assurance: Review and edit proposal content to ensure clarity, coherence, and compliance with submission requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 4 years of experience in architectural proposal and bid preparation, preferably within the architecture and design industry.
Strong knowledge of architectural design concepts, technical requirements, and industry standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
Proficiency in proposal management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple proposals concurrently.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
Saudi Arabia residency or the ability to work in Saudi Arabia is required.
