Project Description:
Situated to the northeast of Al Madinah Al Munawwarah and to the southeast of Prince Mohammed Bin Abdul Aziz Airport, near Wadi Al Aqool, the project stands as a testament to the rich heritage and hospitality of Madinah. Covering an expansive area of 30,479 m2 and majestically overlooking the King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Road, this cultural landmark beautifully interweaves the traditional Hejazi architecture with modern design elements, capturing the essence of Madinah's welcoming nature that has greeted its visitors over the centuries.
As a welcome center for Madinah, it's more than just a building. It's an experience that offers visitors an immersive journey into the history and landmarks of Medina through audio, visual, and interactive mediums. It's a reflection of the Madinah Development Authority's aspiration to epitomize the city's age-old hospitality tradition.
The architectural marvel, inspired by Hejazi architecture, comprises a four-storey building, which includes a hotel. It seamlessly integrates with a series of squares, gardens, and outdoor exhibition areas, collectively covering about 11,310 m2. With its strategic location and a site that divides land divisions with widths of 100m to the west and 40m from the north and east, it's poised to become a beacon of cultural exchange and a hub of historical exploration for both residents and visitors alike.
