Approach
The master plan carefully blended contemporary urban interventions with the preservation of existing heritage structures. The design enhanced pedestrian connectivity, linking key landmarks such as Seif Palace, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Grand State Mosque. A balance between modern infrastructure and traditional Kuwaiti elements ensured that the site maintained its historical essence while accommodating contemporary needs.
Impact
The Heritage Village has become a cultural and commercial hub, fostering a sense of community and reinforcing Kuwait’s national identity. By enhancing accessibility and urban integration, the project successfully revitalized the area while respecting its historical significance, providing residents and visitors with a dynamic and engaging public space.
